In order to obtain residential permit parking on your street, you must first complete an application and petition form. Once filled out, the forms can be emailed to rpp@cityofchicago.org

Chicago residents living within an established Residential Parking Zone may be eligible to purchase Chicago Residential Parking Daily Passes. Find your residential permit zone number here.

Residential Daily Parking Passes that are valid for 24 hours upon the date and time of display, which MUST be printed in ink to be valid. The permit must also be displayed in the lower passenger corner of the windshield.

You can purchase your Residential Daily Parking Passes online, or visit the City Clerk's Office to pick up the permit sheets in-person. If purchased online, please allow for 12 business days for delivery.
